Handcrafted Acura MDX PMC Delivers Superior Luxury

By Justin Cupler | November 22nd, 2019

Earlier, Acura unveiled the TLX PMC Edition, the first in a line of handcrafted vehicles from our favorite luxury automaker. Today, we are here to tell you about the second model to pick up the PMC Edition nameplate. Meet the upcoming 2020 Acura MDX PMC Edition.

Like the TLX PMC Edition, the MDX PMC Edition will gain a slew of upgrades buyers cannot get on other MDX models combined with some of the crossover’s best existing upgrades. This is all tossed together by hand to ensure the perfect fit and finish for the most discerning buyers.

On the outside, the 2020 MDX PMC Edition’s exclusive buts will include a host of gloss-black bits, including the 20-inch split-10-spoke alloy wheels, roof panel, roof antenna, mirror caps, door handles, the Diamond Pentagon grille, and the wheel center caps. This dark treatment is contrasted by its exclusive Valencia Red nano-pigment paint and dual 4-inch black-chrome exhaust finishers.

Inside, the PMC Edition exclusive upgrades include a numbered plaque, black Milano leather seats with Alcantara inserts, black piping and red stitching on the seats, a dimpled-leather-wrapped steering wheel with red accent stitching, metal-finished paddle shifters, red-stitched door panels, center console, headrests and front center armrest, and premium A-Spec floor mats.

Beyond its exclusive features, the 2020 MDX PMC Edition includes other features from various versions of its existing lineup, including the A-Spec package, Jewel Eye LED headlights, LED taillights, LED fog lights, heated and ventilated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, a 10-speaker Acura ELS Studio™ audio system, navigation, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, GPS-linked climate control, front and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, and much more.

We expect the 2020 Acura MDX PMC Edition here at Acura of Rochester, serving Rochester, Pittsford, Fairport, and the surrounding areas, in early 2020. There will only be 300 units available in the U.S. and Canada, so you’d better get to ordering. Pricing is not official, but Acura announced an anticipated MSRP in the mid-$60,000 range.
