4 Flavors of the 2019 Acura MDX
As the best seller for the brand, Acura knows it must tread carefully with changes to the MDX. The 2019 Acura MDX is a clear example of this as it boasts everything buyers loved about the 2018 model with only a few small, albeit valuable, updates.
One of these updates is the addition of the A-Spec package, which has been a staple on the brand’s sedans for several years. With this new package, there are now four optional packages for the Acura MDX. Continue reading to find out what each package offers.
The Entertainment Package adds $2,000 to the 2019 MDX’s price. For this extra cash, you get a 9-inch full-VGA rear screen, an 11-speaker audio system, two wireless headphones, a removable remote control, A 110-volt power outlet in the front center console, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and second-row sun shades.
The Technology Package is far more robust, as its $5,000 price tag alludes to. This package adds all the tech and luxury features most discerning buyers prefer. These include perforated leather seats, GPS-linked climate control, natural wood accents, 20-inch Shark Gray 10-spoke wheels, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side-view mirrors with LED puddle lights, remote start, color multi-information display, rear door smart key entry, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, navigation, 10-speaker audio system, voice recognition, AcuraLink, and Siri Eyes Free.
The Advance Package runs $6,750, plus it requires the Technology Package for a net cot of $11,750. This package puts you into a superior cabin slathered in perforated Milano leather with contrast stitching and piping. It also adds heated and ventilated seats, second-row heated seats, second-row center console with sliding tray, a heated steering wheel, second-row sunshades, two USB ports in the third row, LED fog lights, auto-dimming side mirrors, roof rails, a head-up display, and a 360-degree camera.
Rounding out the packages is the new-for-2019 A-Spec Package, this runs $3,500 and requires the Technology Package, which brings the net price to $8,500. In addition to the Tech Package items, the A-Spec Package adds 20-inch Shark Gray five-spoke wheels, exclusive bumpers, exhaust outlets and lower rear bumper trim, LED fog lights, a black Diamond Pentagon grille and trim, Dark Chrome tailgate garnish, headlight housing and taillights housing, body-colored door handles, heated and ventilated A-Spec front seats, A-Spec paddle shifters, a black headliner, red-lit instrument panel, and an A-Spec door sill garnish.
These packages are, of course, on top of the 2019 Acura MDX’s $44,300 MSRP, not including the $995 delivery fee, tax, or title fees.
