The redesigned 2019 Acura RDX has been shattering records since its debut, so it’s popularity is undeniable. But did you know the RDX has four personalities? Here’s a look at its four packages. Which one fits you best?
2019 Acura RDX
This is the starting point for the RDX lineup — the standard model. It starts from $37,300 with front-wheel drive and tops out at $39,300 with all-wheel drive.
While it is the base model, there is nothing basic about it. It comes standard with premium features like a panoramic moonroof, Jewel Eye LED headlights, automatic headlights, LED taillights, heated mirrors, leatherette sport seats with 12-way power and heat, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a push-button transmission, a nine-speaker audio system, SiriusXM, a 10.2-inch display, and much more.
On top of all that, the 2019 RDX comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This power routes through a 10-speed automatic transmission on its way to the front wheels.
2019 Acura RDX Technology
The 2019 RDX with the Technology Package is the next step in the RDX lineup. This model starts from $40,500 and tops out at $42,500 with all-wheel drive.
When compared to the standard RDX, the Technology Package adds upgraded wheels, perforated Milano premium leather upholstery with contrast stitching, GPS-linked climate control, voice recognition, a premium audio system with 12 speakers, two rear USB ports, navigation with traffic rerouting, front parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic monitoring.
2019 Acura RDX A-Spec
The A-Spec package adds some extra sportiness to the RDX Technology and pushes the price to $43,500 with front-wheel drive and $45,500 with all-wheel drive.
In addition to the Technology Package, the A-Spec package adds 20-inch wheels, dark-chrome trim, LED fog lights, A-Spec-exclusive exhaust outlets and bumpers, A-Spec seats with perforated Milano leather and Ultrasuede upholstery with contrast stitching and piping, ventilated front seats, A-Spec steering wheel, red ambient lighting, dark brushed-aluminum interior trim, a red-on-silver gauge cluster, sport pedals, ebony headliner, A-Spec door sill garnish, and an upgraded audio system with 16 speakers.
2019 Acura RDX Advance
Opting for the Advance package means you must also add the Technology Package, which drives its total price to $45,400 with front-wheel drive and $47,400 with all-wheel drive.
For this price, the Advance package builds upon the Technology Package with an adaptive suspension, 19-inch alloy silver interwoven wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, acoustic front side glass, sport seats with perforated Milano leather and Ultrasuede upholstery with contrast stitching and piping, 16-way power front seats, heated rear outboard seats and steering wheel, Natural Olive Ash Burl wood trim, a 10.5-inch head-up display, surround-view camera, and a rear camera washer.
